The Deep Colours are perfect for intermediate cake decorators as they have to be activated with Paint Active before mixing into batter, buttercream, icing or fondant to colour, the powders offer more control of colour strength. Simply add the Deep Colour powder into the mixture and add 2 - 3 drops of Paint Active to activate the pigment, start mixing until desired colour is achieved. The Petal Dusts are used for dusting onto fondant or chocalate and can also be used as a paint when mixing with Paint Active
